Today is a voting day in South Africa. For the first time in 10 years, I actually felt like voting! Why? Well, I think there’s finally a strong enough voice AGAINST the ruling ANC and I wanted to be part of it!

My mom and I went to vote at a polling station about a km from where we live. There weren’t many people in the queue, and the whole voting process was finished without any issues within 10 minutes.

My only regret of the day, is that the ink on my left thumb nail was merely a mark, not a little smiley face as I so politely suggested…
